Surfing Life Club offers two programs that open the ocean to everyone. Surf Educa® teaches children and teenagers water safety, confidence, and real-life skills.

Surf Educa® teaches children and teenagers how to stay safe in the water. It builds confidence. This helps them become stronger, more independent, and more aware. They will learn real-life skills and leave the beach proud, capable, and ready for more. It's a surf vacation experience built for learning... and made for fun.

About Surf Educa

More than 15,000 students from schools in Portugal and Europe have already participated, including CLIP, the British School of Porto, Garcia da Orta, and many others. Parents and educators share the same opinion: safety at sea is not just useful. It's essential.

What Students Learn

How the program works:

• Theoretical lesson on sea safety, rescue techniques and surf knowledge
• Practical surf lesson taught in a safe and shallow environment
• Use of all equipment (wetsuit, surfboard, lifebuoy)
• Access to the surf club facilities (changing rooms, toilets and personal storage)
• Supervision with a ratio of 1 instructor to 7 students
• Led by João Diogo and a team of accredited coaches with decades of experience

This is one of the most popular and effective surf schools that Portugal has to offer. We created it taking into account safety, education and long-term value.

The program is led by João Diogo, a certified surf coach and former competitor, along with a team of instructors fully accredited by the Portuguese Surf Federation. Our surf school was founded in 1994 and received a Merit Award from the Minister of Sport for its work in educating young people about surfing.
