Surf in Surf & SUP - Surf and Stand Up Paddle School

The Vila do Conde Coastal Surf School provides rigorous and high-quality surf and stand-up paddleboard instruction. Our goal is to promote, encourage, and stimulate the learning, practice, and competition of surfing, specifically in the modalities of surfing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

We also aim to disseminate surfing instruction and practice to citizens with all types of physical/motor, mental/cognitive, and sensory disabilities through our adapted surf and SUP lessons. The social aspect of practicing the sport is one of the investments our school has been developing, seeking to encompass the entire population, regardless of their socioeconomic status, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Some of our activities:

• Throughout the year, we are available to work with the general community through pre-scheduled classes.
• Every Monday, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, we offer surfing practice as a school sport, as well as for visitors.
• We conduct training sessions in SUP (Stand Up Paddle) for Physical Education teachers throughout the year.
• We carry out environmental awareness activities in schools.
