Penas Surf School arose from the passion of Rui Baptista (Penas), a passionate surfer with over 30 years of experience. Its main focus is to provide the best experience for all surfing levels, from beginner to advanced, with a specific method for each level. Penas Surf School is committed to ensuring quality services, qualified instructors and appropriate equipment, respecting all people and the environment, and last but not least, adapting instruction to the individual characteristics of each student. Managed by Rui Baptista "Penas," a surfer with 30 years of experience and established credentials in this sport, his goal is to train men, women, and children from 8 to 80 years old, applying all his knowledge and experience to this sport; because surfing is not just a sport, but a way of life. The surf school is located in front of Matosinhos beach, which is geographically excellent, but if it's necessary to change beaches, we'll search for the best spots to teach, thus avoiding the crowds and chaos felt during the warmer months. We are perfectly qualified and have a vehicle to take the respective groups out in search of the perfect wave. Penas Surf School offers a variety of surf programs for all ages and skill levels! Currently, Penas Surf School is offering private lessons and group surf lessons. Our qualified instructors will teach you the correct process to learn to surf!
