Talking about cod takes us from the heart of its fishing – in Gafanha da Nazaré, where the entire national cod fishing fleet is currently located – to the Maritime Museum of Ílhavo, where the entire history of its fishing by the Portuguese is on display. This journey is made by bicycle on a circular route, reminding us of the traditional, and current, way of traveling of the inhabitants.
